Most importantly, they taste great!
Frozen prepared food items probably make a lot of you think of unhealthy items. However, there are some very healthy and nutritious healthy frozen items. Dr. Praeger's has done an amazing job offering healthy frozen items that are loaded with flavor. My entire family loves their products. Dr. Praeger's offers pizza bagels, frozen fish products, veggie burgers and much more. I have tried a number of their products and love them. I was really excited when I received a box with some items they offer that I haven't tried!
My entire family loves Dr. Praeger's Pizza Bagels. They are great for kids, but adults love them too. This is a healthier version of a frozen pizza. I really like that they have a great flavor. They have good quality ingredients in them. The sauce has a great flavor too. I like that it isn't sweet like some frozen tomato based sauces. These come in packages of six and are available in the freezer section. They are a great quick snack or meal.
We also really enjoyed Dr. Praeger's California Veggie Burgers. My daughter even loves these. They are a great alternative to a meat burger. I first want to say that I am not vegetarian. I do love to eat healthy though. These taste great and are good for you. I love that these veggie burgers have pieces of real veggies throughout the entire patty. I topped mine with some baby romaine, tomato, onion, hot peppers and ketchup. It was a great healthy lunch. How would you serve these?
My kids love chicken nuggets and sometimes we need to take a break from them. I was excited to try out Dr. Praeger's Lightly Breaded Fishies. These are great for snacks after school or a healthy lunch or dinner. My kids enjoyed them. They have recently started eating more fish, so these are great. They have a very mild flavor that appeals to kids. They also like that they get crispy.
